Support Technician at the Financial Supervisory Authority
Are you a support technician looking for an exciting digitalization journey? Join us at the Financial Supervisory Authority (FI) and contribute your expertise by providing user support at FI. We are a dedicated IT team working agilely to deliver services to FI's employees, the public, and companies under our supervision. We are now strengthening our IT organization.
About the Job
As a support technician in the Applications Operations and IT Support department, you will be part of the IT support team that primarily handles user support at FI. The team works exclusively on-site with a strong focus on supporting and assisting FI's employees with applications and technical equipment. Work is conducted through a ticketing system, over the phone, or on-site. You will also work with troubleshooting and configuration of technical equipment, as well as supporting other teams in IT. You are expected to actively contribute to improvements in the processes and routines that govern and ensure the quality of the work. The position may eventually include responsibilities as a team leader.
Your Education and Experience
We are looking for someone who:
- has several years of experience working as a support technician
- has a genuine interest and willingness to learn and develop
- has worked with a ticketing system
- has good knowledge of troubleshooting, configuration, and installation of PCs and Windows 11
- has good knowledge of iOS and MS Office
- has worked in Active Directory
- has work experience as an on-site support technician
- expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
It is a merit if you:
- have relevant post-secondary education or certification in IT
- have knowledge of Powershell
- have worked in a government agency
- have worked with the ticketing system Easit
- have previous experience in a leadership role
- have knowledge of setting up and deploying video conferencing room equipment, especially Logitech products.
